Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province holds Jiangsu-Texas Software Industry commercial negotiation conference in Dallas. The other day the deputation of Jiangsu software industry visited Dallas, investigating the software and information industry of Dallas-Fort Worth and holding negotiation conference. They hope to take this opportunity to advance the communication and cooperation of Jiangsu province and Dallas in software industry and international outsourcing, and in turn create more business for the two areas, thus realize the common mutual benefits.
The Jiangsu delegation is composed of over 50 Chinese government officials in IT industry and chief representatives of IT companies . And this is the first time Jiangsu sends a strong lineup of specialized delegation to visit Dallas.
Mayyer Slagel, mayor of Richardson where sits the famous American “Telecommunication Corridor”, addressed to welcome the delegation in the negotiation conference. He said he once held a post in Dallas Vecco, and owns an information industry company. He wishes that the cooperation of Jiangsu software industry and Dallas-Fort Worth District will succeed.
Shao Ping, Director of Service Outsourcing Office, Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, addressed that Jiangsu capitalizes its advantage to promote manufacturing industry and at the same time develop modern service industry, creating a most influential international service outsourcing base. Now Jiangsu has more than 2300 service outsourcing enterprises, 290,000 employees. From January to August this year, we have contracted offshore outsourcing amounted to US$ 2.7 billion, accounting for one third of the whole nation.
